  • Cook time: 20 minutes

  • Total time: 30 minutes

  • Servings: 4

Ingredients

  • For the Pasta:

    • 8 oz Spaghetti noodles

    • Salt for boiling water

  • For the Golden Chicken:

    • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts

    • 1 tsp Garlic powder

    • 1 tsp Paprika

    • Salt and black pepper to taste

    • 2 tbsp Olive oil

  • For the Garlic Parmesan Sauce & Topping:

    • 3 tbsp Unsalted butter

    • 4 cloves Garlic, minced

    • 1 cup Heavy cream

    • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese blend (divided)

    • Fresh chopped parsley and crushed red pepper flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil the Pasta: Bring a large pot of heavily salted water to a rolling boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve half a cup of starchy pasta water, then drain the pasta.

  2. Season the Chicken: Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides evenly with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 6 to 7 minutes per side until deeply golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F). Remove from skillet, let rest for 5 minutes, and slice diagonally.

  4. Prepare the Garlic Sauce: Reduce heat to medium and melt the butter in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  5. Simmer & Melt Cheese: Pour in the heavy cream and let it gently simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in 1 cup of the mozzarella and parmesan cheese blend until completely melted into a velvety sauce.

  6. Combine Spaghetti & Bake Option: Add the drained spaghetti into the garlic cream sauce, tossing to coat thoroughly (adding a splash of pasta water if needed). Top the pasta with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheese and cover for 2 minutes to let it melt into a gooey layer.

  7. Garnish & Serve: Plate the rich, cheesy spaghetti alongside the sliced chicken breasts. Garnish generously with freshly chopped parsley and red pepper flakes before serving hot!
